Going Green at Caleb Greenwood
Our new Caleb Green Team begins its campaign to reduce, reuse and
recycle! The mission of this volunteer parent committee is to
implement programs that create awareness and education on environmental
issues and concerns. Helping to inspire students to become "Stewards of the Earth"
beginning here in our own community.
Planned projects include “Earth Day” celebrations, waste free lunches, and student
contests that inspire others to be involved in saving our natural
resources. First on the calendar, is an assembly on Feb 24 th
with a composting presentation by The Worm Farm.
Green Tip for this week: Plant native & drought resistance plants.
